Before you file: If GoDaddy is only the registrar (not the host), they'll refer you to the actual hosting provider. Domain disputes need a UDRP filing, not a DMCA notice.

Steps

  1. Verify GoDaddy actually hosts the site using WHOIS. If not, they'll redirect you.
  2. Go to GoDaddy's IP claims center and select Copyright Complaints (or Trademark).
  3. Enter the infringing domain and your contact info.
  4. Describe and document the infringement, uploading screenshots and certificates.
  5. Provide specific URLs where the content appears, then sign and submit.
