Steps
- Go to amazon.com/report/infringement. Amazon now requires signing in with an Amazon account before the form loads (a guest account works fine).
- Select the infringement type (Copyright, Trademark, or Patent). File separately for each type; they cannot be combined.
- Describe your work and provide the ASINs of the infringing listings. List every variant individually.
- Submit and save your Case ID.

Worth knowing
- Brand Registry members can instead use Report a Violation under Protect, searching by keyword, ASIN, or image, and batch-submitting multiple ASINs.
- Copyright claims don't require registration, though it helps. Trademark generally requires registration.
- Patent holders can use the APEX program through Brand Registry for US utility patents ($4,000 per party, refunded to the winner).
If Amazon doesn't act
A platform can ignore a report. Its payment processor and the people it depends on to stay online are much harder to ignore.
