How to file a DMCA takedown on Shopify

Steps

  1. Go to Shopify’s IP complaint form (requires a free Shopify account).
  2. Select "Report a Merchant" → "Copyright Infringement" (or Trademark).
  3. Fill in your contact info. This will be shared with the merchant.
  4. Provide direct URLs to your original work.
  5. Provide specific page-level URLs of the infringing content. General store links are rejected. You can add up to 100 links per submission.
  6. Describe exactly which images or text were copied and where they appear on each page.
  7. Complete the good faith declaration, sign electronically, and submit.
